Malaysian's language!

We communicate with each others by using language. Did all of you hear about "Manglish"? Today I'm going to share a lot about "Manglish"! =)! It's funny, but it's Malaysia culture. Let's start! Here is some example that taken from some web site. =)

But before that, let me give a simple definition about "Manglish".

English+Malay=Manglish
Mandarin+Malay+English=Rojak

Simple enough? LOL!

• Why you so lidat wan?

- Why are you like that?

• I dowan to talk to you anymore.

-I am not going to talk to you anymore.

• You say correct onot?

-Do you agree with me?

And I also found some word that always come out from Malaysian. ^v^

Adjectives 1. pai-seh" - ashamed. (Hokkien)

Verbs 1. "gostan" - reverse a vehicle, apparently from the nautical term "go astern" Sometimes also expressed as "gostan balik" (lit., reverse back)


I also found something that commonly used of Manglish.

"LAH" - It's always at the end of the sentences.

• Don't like this LAH!

"NIA" - Similar to ONLY.

• I got 2 ringgit NIA.

"MAH" - Almost same with "LAH", but not so strongly as it.

• She is like that one MAH.

"MEH" - Use to ask question.

• Really MEH? Yea MEH? Cannot MEH?

"LIAO" - Means "already".

• I eat LIAO.

"AH" - Used at the end of the sentences.

• Is that true AH?

"LOR" - Used for explaining something.

• Like that and like this LOR!

"GOT" - Uses of proper English " TO HAVE". Translet from Malay "ADA"

• You GOT 50 cent?

"LEH" - Used to soften an order.

• Help me LEH.

"ONE" - Used as an emphasis at the end of a sentence.

• Like that ONE ah?

LOL! Lastly, here is a joke to share, Mr. Murali, enjoy it! =)!

Visitor: I’m here to study law, sir.
Officer: You know, you must have a lot of lawyers in Malaysia .
Visitor: Why do you say that?

Feeling of losing someone...

I'm listening Mariah Carey's song, [bye bye]. It touched my heart, and I wonder, if missing someone who is left this world, how is it feel? I could felt it, I'm always think of something impossible, it's not impossible, but just, nobody doesn't want to face on it. I try to imagine the life without my parents, my love, and my friends, even though I just think of it, the feeling of afraid appear on my mind, I fear of losing all of them, the feeling of sadness started appear. So, imagine some of them who lose their love, Si Chuan Earth Quake, even though it was 4 months ago, I can still felt the sadness to victim's family, maybe some of us already forgot what had happened few months ago, but victim's family who still alive, will never forget, how is the feeling that they lose someone they love.

Missing someone, intrapersonal communication? Interpersonal communication? I don't know, for me, both also possible to be, missing someone, dream of someone in my dream, communicate with someone in dream, is that considered interpersonal communication? I couldn't stop missing of my parents, my friends, and my love, can anyone stop their feeling of missing someone?! No one knows it, maybe some could but some couldn't.

Still the same, appreciate everything around all of us, enjoy our life, appreacite our time! =)!

Moody! =(!

Oh gosh! I've plenty of assignment and quizzes! I have to do revision for Moral Studies, Accounting, Critical Thinking Skill, because the quiz will be having on next week!Last week, I was requested to join the leadership camp for this week even though my name wasn't in the list because most of my friend's name were chosen to go on this week, that's why I decided to request. I was so surprise because I've been informed that HMC already approved my request. I thought that is a good starting but I had forgotten that my Critical Thinking Skill Presentation is on next Monday! That's means I have to prepare well my presentation before my leadership camp!Today is Tuesday, my English assignment have to pass up on Thursday, and my leadership camp is on Friday! That's totally no enough time for me to finish all my work! Almost all my classes ended on 6.30 pm, that's another problem to me. =(! O.o! Out of my topic already! I'm going to talk about miscommunication that was happened on me today, but I took too much of time to release my stress here, =P!


Let's talk about miscommunication, yesterday, I was fighting with someone, I agree with the statement of miscommunication, it can occurs anywhere and anytime, it was quite sad after I argue with him without any reason, maybe I was too stress and he was too, we were started to shout out what we dislike to each others, nobody knows what was happening, the war was started when he told me something,
he said:" I was so stress, don't feel like want to sleep even though I'm sleepy, I'm so tired, I'm so TIRED!"
I said:"Ok la! Since U so tired, don't talk with me k?"
[I was over reaction I know, =P!]
After that, we were hung up our phone call and sleep, I felt so guilty because of my bad tempered.



Through the conversation, I knew he was trying to express his unhappy and stress feeling to me, but I was stress too, then I just answer him loudly and trying to tell him I was stress too, he misunderstood me because he thought I was angry of him. Miscommunication occured. He misunderstood what I'm trying to tell him, I need him to comfort me, but he thought I'm trying to fight with him.

I was so irritating because of this, but thanks God, everything was fine, he said sorry to me this morning, =)! I was day dreaming this morning because of this! Intrapersonal communication occured again! =P!

Anyway, before I ended my blog, Pls bless me! T_T! This coming week will be my nightmare! =(!

Wall-E

Last 2 weeks, I went One Utama, finally, I can watch I want to watch! That's Wall-E! The animation was so cute! Due to my 2nd semester time table, I have no time to watch movie, T_T! But luckily I still able to go out and watch this movie! =)
Wall-e fell in love with Eve during their first meet. Without any action and language, wall-e fell in love. Can this considered as non-verbal? Wall-e takes good care and protects Eve after Eve detected the green plant, all of this action is a type of non-verbal communication. That's why, Love doesn't not to be show, action could be send the love to your love too!

Example, love from parents, they don't speak out how they love us, but they show us how they love us through their action, take care of us when we're sick, worry about our future. My parents, they worried my future more than myself, they went education fair and get all the information for me, asked my neighbour, and keep forcing me to think what I wish to do. They forced me because they know I'm the type of procrastination person, they are trying to force me to plan my future.
This is Eve that protects Wall-e when Wall-e having problems, she can even gave up of her order because of Wall-e. She doesn't love Wall-e at first, but after something happening, she felt Wall-e's love! And she started falling in love with Wall-e.
Wall-e, he did everything for Eve, the communication between both of them without any language, that's non-verbal communication.

Love can be produced by non-verbal communication, appreciate our family, appreciate our life, =)!

Body Language =)

Yes! Today I'm going to post something about body language, O.O! This is the first post for this week, one more thing! Nicholas! Wake up wake up! Faster post your blog! =P! [Giggles]

Ok! Body language, it's a type of non verbal communication. Maybe some of us don't know what is the uses of gesture for us, but some of them are deaf mute person since they're born, gesture is created specially for them.
Last time, before I start my college life, every Thursday I'll accompany my mom to market, I saw a stall, which sold vegetable, my mom told me, after 9 o'clock in the morning, the vegetable will be sold out, that time I was like:"WOW, what's so special?" Then I was realized, their all of their vegetable 100% without pesticide, and I realized that, they are both deaf mute, and they able to communicate with each others, they use eye contact, gesture, and body language to communicate with each others, and even though they are deaf mute, but we can feel they appreciate their life, they didn't give up their life, work hard and support their family. They have 3 daughters, and their daughters would always follow them to market and help them.

I wonder why, some of them, they are healthy, but they didn't even want to appreciate their life, see the husband and the wife, they are able to support their whole family, and they didn't give up at all, work hard and face their problems, that is what we should learn from them.

And gesture, body language, eye contact are important for those who are deaf mute, and some who can't speaks well. It's a type of communication for them to connect with the world, God is fair, they lose something but they learn something. Appreciate your life! =)! Nothing is better than enjoy and appreciate our life! =)! Cheer Up!

Communication between lovers~ ^.^

Today I’m going to talk about something related to lover. I’m 18 years old; it’s time to know a boyfriend right?! But unfortunately, I’ve not meet the special one yet, but my friends around me, almost all of them found their soul mate and their special one.

Sometimes, I wonder how they communicate with each others. They fight, they love, they quarrel, and they enjoy being together. I always know something from my friend, let call her as Miss X, she told me she’s always fight with her boyfriend, but no matter how serious they fight, at last they will be fine. It’s quite funny. Is quarrel between lovers considered as communication?

Every action of lovers included talking, whispering, hugging, quarreling to each others, all of these action are considered as interpersonal communication.

Example: A guy proposes to a girl.

He: “Do you willing to be my wife? Let me be your husband and spend my entire life with you.”

She: “Yes, I do.”

The guy gave a message to the girl and the girl sent back him the feedback too, even though a quarrel too.

I don’t have so much of love experience, because I never had it before. I’ve read a lot of magazine, many articles said that love must be involved some quarrel, that’s 1 of the way to maintain their relationship, is that true? I don’t know, I think for those who has been really infatuated in love before should know that.

Last but not least, human being is full of intriguing. Some special cases, 2 of the person who don’t like to each others of their first impression can be infatuated with each others too! That’s why, don’t give up because of he or she doesn’t like you! =)! Try hard and you may get some surprise! =)!

Day Dreaming~ =)

I believed that everyone has his or her own dreams, but somehow, when we getting older and older, we may think that it’s hard to achieve our own goal or dreams, all we have to face is the realistic of world. For me, it is fun to have day dreaming. Based on what Mr. Murali said, day dreaming is considered as a type of intrapersonal communication.

Our life is getting harder and harder when we’re getting older and older, a lot of stress from society. Day dreaming is a communication within ourselves to fulfill something we couldn’t achieve. I like to day dreaming! It’s fun for me to dream when I’m free, I’ll day dreaming when I’m bored, during my class break, or even when I’m sitting inside KTM or bus. Usually I’ll think of traveling to the world, eating all the yummy food of everywhere, and buy all the cute stuff I love, and of course, doing nothing at home everyday and waiting for my maid to serve me, it’s hard to achieve! But recently, I keep dreaming of having a long holiday without any classes, everyday I stay at HELP from 8a.m to 6.30p.m, Monday to Thursday, I thought Friday is my free time to do something I like to do, but oh my god, it’s not! A lot of replacement classes coming toward to me! Of course it’s not only me but everyone. Furthermore, I am having plenty of assignment to do! Especially Introduction to Human Communication, I have to post at least 3 blogs per week! Therefore, instead of watching TV, online, playing video games, I prefer to day dreaming because it save my time and I feel relax after thinking all of this dream even though the some of the dream will not come true.

It is also a type of communication within ourselves; we could know that what is our goal, and think of the way to achieve it. Sometimes, many of us will think of our future especially after SPM, busy choosing of the college and course, worrying about the career, and so on. At least after day dreaming, we could know about what we want.

Therefore, try it when you’re free! =)! It’s important to have intrapersonal communication with yourself! =)! But remember! Don't over day dreaming especially in Mr. Murali's class! =P!
